fan-tail 2005
June 2005 Artstation gallery Auckland New Zealand
in fan-tail, ordinary common-place sounds are produced as a result of a kinetic feedback system. the air movement produced from the conventional fan is needed in order for the wind turbine to generate enough electricity to power the speakers. however, the relatioship between the objects is a ridiculous one. electricity is needed in order for electricity to be generated. the production of wind in this insance requires more electricity than the turbine can produce, creating an uneven mechianical system.
